What is an active board?

How do you usually connect the active board to the PC to use software?
Hardware connection
Determine the interface: First, confirm the audio output interface type of your speaker active board and computer. Common interfaces include 3.5mm audio interface, RCA interface, optical fiber interface, USB interface, etc.
Prepare the connection cable: Prepare the corresponding connection cable according to the interface type of the speaker active board and computer. For example, if the speaker active board has an RCA interface and the computer has a 3.5mm audio interface, you need a 3.5mm to RCA audio cable.
Connect the speaker: Plug one end of the audio cable into the audio output port of the computer and the other end into the input port of the speaker active board.
