Why adjust the sensitivity of the DM30?
1. Different audio devices have significantly different output voltages. If they are not matched, the amplifier will either be "underpowered" or produce "clipping" (distortion):

How to change the sensitivity of an amplifier module?
First, unscrew the screws and disconnect the connecting wires.
Secondly, locate resistors R29 and R26 on the channel board and remove them. Then install a 30K resistor.
Finally, reassemble the amplifier module.
