Q1. Regarding the D series rear panel switches 1, 2, 3, and 4
Switches 1 and 2: Gain function, the factory default setting is 41dB.
Switch 3: Stereo, Bridge, and Mono. Both Bridge and Mono speaker cables are 1+1-; there's no difference.
Switch 4: Clip limiter. Clip on activates the limiter, which must be on for normal operation and stability.
Q2. How to set up parallel operation for D2-4200?
Step 1: Turn on switch 3.
Step 2: Connect the signal to channel A
Step 3: Connect each output to the speakers
Q4. D Series amplifier operating temperature
Can operate in a temperature range of 0-45 degrees Celsius
Q5. Regarding bridging D-series amplifiers
Amplifiers cannot be connected to 2-ohm speakers after bridging, as this will act like a 1-ohm amplifier and could damage the amplifier.
A bridging amplifier can only be connected to 4-ohm speakers.
Q6. How long does it take for the amplifier to enter thermal shutdown?
When using the amplifier's standard fan, the amplifier won't go into thermal shutdown mode.
However, if using a silent fan or a Noctua fan at full DJ power, it will go into shutdown mode after about ten minutes.
Q7. Regarding the US plug selection
One is a standard US plug, the other is an industrial US plug, 15A 125V
Q8. D Series DSP Functions
The D Series DSP's front panel knob controls volume, but if you want to adjust more functions, such as Xover and gain, you must use software.
The software can import FIR functions. FIR is used for phase correction during signal debugging and system adjustment.
Q9. FIR Import Location
Hardware-configure-Load FIR Filter
Q10. Regarding the white/pink noise function
None of the power amplifiers have a white/pink noise function; this feature is typically found on mixing consoles.
